Banana colada

This drink is a warm beverage, ideal for breakfast or a snack, full of nutrients and easy to prepare.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of Banavital green banana flour

  • 2 cups of water or milk (you can use almond milk, coconut milk, or your preferred type)

  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

  • 1 tablespoon of honey or sweetener to taste (optional)

  • A pinch of salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Prepare the mixture:

    • Peel the banana and cut it into pieces.

    • In a blender, add the chopped banana, Banavital green banana flour, water or milk, cinnamon, honey (if using), a pinch of salt, and vanilla extract.

    • Blend everything until smooth and well combined.

  2. Cook the colada:

    • Pour the mixture into a pot over medium heat.

    • Let the colada simmer for about 5-8 minutes, until it thickens and reaches a creamy consistency.

  3. Serve:

    • Remove from heat and let it rest for a minute.

    • Serve the colada hot in cups, and if desired, you can sprinkle a little more cinnamon or add extra honey on top.
