BANAPLUS is part of the same business group as BANASAN, a company with over 15 years of experience in the banana market.
Currently, we export more than 10 million boxes per year to Europe, which include conventional bananas, organic bananas, Fairtrade bananas from small producers, and Fairtrade organic bananas.
Our green banana flour, BANAVITAL, is a project of this company and was conceived to use high-quality bananas that do not meet certain export specifications (such as size, number of fingers per bunch, among others), but still have all the properties needed to produce flour that is 100% dried and powdered green banana pulp, with excellent characteristics and quality.
The factory uses both conventional and organic bananas to produce conventional green banana flour and organic green banana flour.
Our green banana flour factory is located in Santa Marta – Colombia, in the Banana Zone of the Magdalena department.

The banana peel, which was previously discarded, is now reused to create an organic fertilizer that strengthens crops. And that’s not all – by using solar energy to power our factory, we are optimizing our processes and reducing costs.
